Chef Lou Steffy came to us with a concept for his sandwich pop-up, Soigne au Pain. He wanted it to speak to french cuisine, with an emphasis on pain—the english meaning. This request took us in a direction combining seventeenth century gravestone imagery, rustic serifs, and a dark color palette.
